ASAE prepares for the 9th ASAE Conference

ASAE is preparing for the 9thASAE Conference to be held on 11-13 January 2017, at Kasersart University in Bangkok, Thailand. This year's theme is "Transformation in Agricultural and Food Economy in Asia".

ASAE sees that this will be a good opportunity for participants from around the world to learn about agricultural economic issues and challenges in the Asian region and, in particular, Thailand and how these issues and challenges are overcome especially in the light of the transformation of agriculture and rural economy, as a whole.

This conference aims to provide a venue to bring together a good mix of acknowledged researchers including students, policymakers, professionals and specialists from development agencies and private industry to share experiences, exchange perspectives, and discuss consequences, emerging issues, and challenges in transforming Asian agriculture and food economy. Furthermore, it aims to draw up intellectual inputs that can help in shaping possibly a new agriculture policy design in the region.
